Oriental Studies Students commemorated Memorial Day of St. John of Damascus December 17, 2022, was an eventful day for students in the Department of Eastern Christian Philology and Eastern Churches. A solemn Liturgy, with Archpriest Oleg Davydenkov presiding, took place on the Feast Day of St. John Damascene, who is considered the patron saint of the Department.
16.12.2022STOUH Hosts Seminar on the Works of Grigor Narekatsi On December 15, 2022, as part of activities organized by the STOUH International Friendship Club, the Department of Eastern Christian Philology and Eastern Churches of the Faculty of Theology at STOUH and the Tapan Museum of the Diocese of Russia and New Nakhichevan of the Armenian Apostolic Church held an academic seminar on Grigor Narekatsi’s Legacy and its Reflection in the Illuminated Manuscripts of the Armenian Middle Ages.

18.11.2022Greetings on the 30th Anniversary of Saint Tikhon’s Orthodox University of the Humanities from Monsignor Francesco Braschi Saint Tikhon’s Orthodox University of the Humanities received greetings on its 30th anniversary from Monsignor Dr. Francesco Braschi, Director of the Slavic Studies Class of the Biblioteca Ambrosiana (Milan, Italy). This very year, our university also celebrates the tenth anniversary of its fruitful cooperation with the Biblioteca Ambrosiana.
